Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and
home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Pool Physical
Therapist to join our team. This position offers the unique
opportunity to work within our various inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals and home health settings, providing you with diverse
experiences that enhance service delivery and professional growth.
Our physical therapists are integral to our mission of providing
the highest standard of care, utilizing cutting-edge therapy
techniques and personalized treatment plans to facilitate patients'
recovery and improve their quality of life. Evaluate patients'
condition and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
Help patients improve their mobility and manage their pain in a
various settings. Implement personalized treatment plans that
include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of
technological equipment. Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatments as necessary. Educate patients and their families about
the treatment plan and wellness management. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Expertise in physical therapy techniques and treatments. Ability to
design and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in using
physical therapy software and equipment. Ability to work flexibly
across multiple settings. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of
practice. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Membership in
the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is desirable.
