This position will be located in on site in Melbourne, FL.The selected candidate will perform cost estimating/pricing related duties and analysis in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and in compliance with regulatory requirements. They will coordinate with functional departments to facilitate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements and research and analyze historical data and develop cost models to support proposal efforts. Additionally, the selected candidate will coordinate activities and participates in fact-finding meetings and in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.Essential Functions:Submits written supplier price/cost analysis reports (PCARs) detailing the suppliers' price/cost proposal as required by FAR Part 15 and the NGAS negotiation objective positionPrepares Procurement Review Board (PRB) briefings showing supplier proposed vs. negotiation objective positions by major element of cost to attain formal Supply Chain Management approval for supplier negotiationsPrepares materiel estimates and provides a consolidated bill of material to include in cost volumes as a support function to NGAS Pricing/EstimatingPrepares and supports presentation and approval of materiel estimates at the required value level as part of the proposal teamSupports supplier negotiations and represents the supplier price/cost analysis position to customers as required to support NGAS Contracts and NGAS Pricing/Estimating organizationsResponds to miscellaneous and external Global Supply Chain Business Management request for information regarding assigned suppliersEstimating, accounting, and billing system review and complianceMaintain and update program bill of material, actual cost records, and supporting dataSupports DCAA and DCMA audits as requiredMaterial/Subcontract EAC and Variance AnalysisAnalyze, Forecast and Track Supplier Cash/ExpendituresMake/Buy Analysis SupportSupport Global Supply Chain with assigned suppliers from Change Board, RFP process, proposal evaluation, negotiation, affordability, and close outBasic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Proposal Analyst:Bachelor's degree with 10 years of pricing/estimating, finance, contracts, proposals, and/or business-related experience, OR a Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant experienceMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and Special Program Access prior to startProficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and WordPreferred Qualifications:Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principlesAbility to work as an integral member of the Subcontract/Procurement team to achieve Global Supply Chain, Program, and/or NGAS objectives, while maintaining compliance during all stages of the proposal/acquisition processAbility to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environmentActive Secret ClearanceWe offer flexible work arrangements, excellent learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
