testing of materials for spacecraft. You will share in the team's

required!Qualifications:
- 10+ years materials testing experience with reviewing and
executing test requirements and reporting test data.
- Summarize, document, and communicate results to
stakeholders.
- Development and optimization of standard methods, training
material, and related documentation for laboratory processes.
- Demonstrate strict attention to detail in executing material
testing.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Identifying new equipment to expand laboratory capability and
improve responsiveness.
- Safely work with hazardous systems containing chemicals, heat,
and/or high pressure.
- Experience with engineering laboratory skills: weights and
measures, chemical hygiene, materials safety planning, personal
protective equipment, contamination control, workload organization
and planning.
- Performed fastener testing to industry standards and internally
developed test methods.
- Have experience in the use of load frames and accessory test
equipment. (MTS or Instron).
- Have experience in fastener torque and clamp load
measurements.
- Have experience with production validation fastener testing and
data collection to validate production readiness.
- Help in training others (engineers and technicians) to execute
test processes.
- Strong verbal, written, personal, technical, and software
skills (e.g., TW Elite, Blue hill, Scheduling, Issue Tracking,
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Extremely customer focused.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently, with little
oversight, and cooperatively with teams of diverse skills across
large geographic distances.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- A continuous improvement mindset. Our job is never complete; we

- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
- Experience in sample preparation requirements, load frame
tooling and setup, test software programming, test execution,
troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Experience in Standard Work Instructions for lab personal and
fastener application engineers.
- Experience in ultrasonic clamp load measurement methods.
- Experience in maintaining, calibrating, and procuring new lab
supplies and equipment.
- Experience with chemical hygiene and lab/shop safety in
aerospace manufacturing and operations.
- Experience with Windchill, Gensuite, JIRA, Confluence, Minitab,
AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks and MATLAB/Simulink.
- 5S and Lean Six Sigma experience.
