Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.As part of a hardworking and complementary team of financial analysts supporting Corporate teams, driving the monthly business rhythm and all major financial planning processes (Annual Operating Plan, Multi-Year Strategic Plan). You will be accountable for the business unit financial consolidation, planning, analysis and reporting as well as being a finance business partner to a segment of budget owners. We are seeking a proactive individual with excellent financial skills, knowledge of financial statements, and generally accepted accounting principles, attention to detail that can thrive and support our mission in a fast-paced environment. You will share in the team's impact on providing our business partner's with high quality and accurate data to assist them in understanding the financial performance, develop an early warning system to enable proactive financial management, and provide information to enable critical business decisions. This role will report into the Corporate Functions Manager and will drive critical initiatives to improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of insights provided to senior and executive leadership. You will prepare and deliver executive level briefings on financial performance, provide variance analysis to forecast and budget, help the team meet financial targets, deliver results, as well as work to report progress on financial risks and opportunities. As a member of the Corporate Finance team, you will be working day to day using Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting, Planful (Blue Origin's Financial Planning tool) and Costpoint (Accounting system).We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. • 5+ years of financial and business analytics experience to include demonstrated FP&A and reporting experience
• Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or other highly analytical field.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of financial documents and performance metrics
• Experience in working with high level executives
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel Power Query, Power Pivot
  • Advance SQL querying and data mining
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
