Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Principal
Configuration Analyst for a new and exciting effort located in
Melbourne FL. Responsibilities: Plans and coordinates preparation
of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production
specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure
customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to
determine documentation required for each phase of project,
applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on
overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for
management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for
change authorization and documentation by company and
subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change
data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support,
manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.Basic
Qualifications:
- Must have 10 years of relevant experience. Will consider 6
years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or 4 years
of experience with Master's Degree.
- Complete understanding and application of industry principles,
concepts, practices, and standards
- Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform
fairly complex professional tasks
- Experience setting up task schedules, tracking progress, and
compiling data for status reporting metrics
- Extensive knowledge of Access Database and Excel Spreadsheet
manipulation
- Must work well in a team environment and with minimum
supervision
- Must have an active secret DoD security clearance with ability
to maintain
- Ability to obtain a special program access within 365
daysPreferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a USAF air vehicle collaborator (ie. Plans and
Scheduling)
- Ability to understand system description documents
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with CPLM
- Experience using 3D CAD modeling programs to read and interpret
engineering data
- Experience with writing/publishing in XML
- Understanding of S1000D international Specification for
Technical Publications. Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
