Deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement and respond vigorously to change.If this is YOU, keep reading!Essential Functions:Fantastic opportunity to manage a team of approximately ten (10) to twelve (12) Subcontract Specialists (various levels). Direct and manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements that are levied upon the Subcontractors managed by the team in an effort to ensure performance and support of the prime contract milestones for multiple subsystems. Act as the main focal point for major suppliers of all Subcontract related activities; brief executive management and the Customer on the status/issues affecting performance or cost; and conduct program reviews with the Subcontractor and Program Office.Manage all phases of the Subcontracts from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions, through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability. Serve as an integral part of the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Subcontract Management Teams (SMT) to ensure sound decision making, affecting Subcontractor performance; as well as establishment of milestone objectives and management of performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 5-years, or a Master's Degree with 3-years or High School Diploma/Equivalency with 9-years' combined experience; combined experience in any of the following: Subcontracts Management, Procurement, Program Management, or Contracts ManagementSAP or related purchasing software, in addition to Excel, PowerPoint, & MS ProjectKnowledgeable in FAR and DFARSSubcontract Management experience for subcontracts in excess of $50 Million for an engineering product lineExperience conducting oral presentations to executive leadershipLeadership experience - Manager or Team Lead experience is acceptableActive, In-Scope DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 yearsPreferred Qualifications:Master Degree in Business, Global Supply Chain or Project ManagementExperience working on high dollar development Subcontracts (i.e. $100M Cost Reimbursable Preferred)Experience conducting presentations to and collaborating with Senior LeadershipInternal Northrop Grumman Subcontracts experienceKnowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)CAM Experience or TrainingRisk mitigation experienceNegotiating skills with contract in excess of $100 millionSalary Range: 100300 - 150500Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
