Industry Job Title
Background Check Type
ENSCO, Inc., is seeking an Acoustics Scientist to work closely with
a team of scientists and analysts. The work is mission critical and
involves solving real-world problems. A solid understanding of
acoustic propagation in the atmosphere over local, regional, and
long distances from tens to thousands of kilometers is required.
Conduct data analysis using acoustic propagation modeling tools to
characterize atmospheric effects, from ground properties and
topography up to within the thermosphere, with an emphasis on low
frequencies (infrasound). Apply subject matter expertise to
evaluate observations on sensor networks. The applicant must have
in-depth understanding of relevant algorithm development, data
analysis and signal processing techniques, including frequency
domain analysis, array beamforming, and advanced spectral analysis
