$17.64 to $19.40 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performs experienced technical work fabricating traffic control signs and specialty signs.



REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years of relevant education and/or experience in sign fabrication and design, which includes six (6) months of experience with sign design software, including Gerber Omega, Flexi Sign, or other similar software. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must possess, or obtain within eighteen (18) months of employment, a valid International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level I Signs and Markings Certification, and maintain said certification in an active status during the term of employment. Must possess, or obtain within thirty-six (36) months of employment, a valid International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level II Sign Technician Certification, and maintain said certification in an active status during the term of employment. Must be able to successfully complete an OSHA-compliant forklift operator training course, which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178, and be able to safely operate a forklift. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
