Join the team at The Ganachery in Disney Springs! We are looking for a Chocolatier! The role is to connect our guiding principles and the Guest experience with the Boutique feel of our Ganachery. There are sales and scientific aspects of the role requiring specific skills and knowledge, including the storytelling of the product. These Chocolatiers will not only make chocolate confections from scratch in our onstage production kitchen but also participate in tastings and engagements with our Guests leading to a uniquely Disney experience. This Cast Member will introduce our Guests to an entirely new way of experiencing the natural indulgence of chocolate.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $24.50 per hour.

Basic Qualifications :

• Demonstrates knowledge of HACCP, basic food temperatures, proper food handling, and good judgment of quantity, quality, and production
• Knowledge of raw materials, origin, production processes, quality control, cost, and other techniques for enhancing the effective manufacture and distribution or display of goods
• Exhibits clean work habits and ownership of a safe, clean work area
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, basic tools, small wares, culinary techniques, and ingredients specialized to that location
• Technical knowledge (equipment, tempering of chocolate, crystallization, storage, shelf life)
• Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Working in an on-stage production kitchen
• Good conversational communication skills are required
• Must have a passion for Pastry, demonstrated by 6 months of recent Food & Beverage exposure.

  SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
