Job Description:

part of an established team of controls system experts, you will be
responsible for the deployment and administration of industrial PLC
and motion control software development applications. You will
share in the team's impact on all aspects of various ground systems
at our orbital launch pad used to fuel and integrate the New Glenn
launch vehicle. The ideal candidate would have a solid background
in software integration for control systems, as well as experience
with electrical and hardware designs. A diverse background with
methods, products, and applications with some experience in an
aerospace environment is a plus. The role has the primary
responsibility of building and maintaining the backend IT and
software infrastructure critical for controls systems at our
Orbital Launch Pad. We are looking for someone to apply their
technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality
to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our
mission and vision is required! Responsibilities:
- Rockwell Automation/Allan Bradley Software maintenance and
integration
- COTS and Custom HMI Software maintenance and integration
- Software performance optimization
- Maintenance of supporting services such as SQL Database
management
- Microsoft: Windows server, workstation, SQL Database,
Administration
- Linux: OS Administration and Software integration
troubleshooting
- Active Directory access administration
- User and Group Management
- VMware Hypervisor Administration
- Virtual Machine Deployment, Configuration and Maintenance
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Management
- Deploy and maintain custom VDI hosts in development and test
environments
- Provide Desktop support and triage as necessary for maintaining
field laptops and workstations.
- Industrial Networking administration
- Device Level Ring
- CIP
- EtherCat/TwinCAT
- CANbus
- Apply and maintain strict cybersecurity controls and standards
for industrial systems and their supporting computer
infrastructure.
- Maintain internal documentation, procedures, and inventory
systems. Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer, Software, Electrical Engineering, or
equivalent experience
- Working Knowledge of industry standard network communication
protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and configuration control tools,
standards and practices.
- Ability to support off-hours and occasional overtime operations
as necessary.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as

- ICONICS/LabView Software Administration Experience

Administrator - Systems III is $94,875 - $139,150 Administrator -
Systems II is $76,725 - $112,530 Compensation range for on site WA
applicants: Administrator - Systems III is $103,500 - $151,800
Administrator - Systems II is $83,700 - $122,760 Compensation range
for on site CA applicants: Administrator - Systems III is $103,500
