Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer - Cyber Security/
Principal Systems Engineer - Cyber Security to join our team of
qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Fl. This position will
be responsible for System Security Engineering (e.g. Cybersecurity,
Anti-Tamper (AT), Program Protection). **This position is located
in Melbourne, FL.**The selected Cyber Systems Engineer will have
experience with Cybersecurity engineering and implementations based
on DoD, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST),
Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI), and
Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, policies and
guidelines._This position can be filled at a higher grade based on
qualifications listed below._**Essential Functions:**--- This
position requires knowledge and experience using systems security
engineering methodologies and techniques.--- Requirements
development and analysis, including supporting trade studies.---
System Architecture development and Modeling--- Must be able to
prepare technical documents, provide briefings, support ongoing
authorization efforts including development of supporting
documentation, develop procedures, and work in a fast changing
dynamic environment with minimal direction.--- Responsible for
System Security Engineering duties as assigned.--- Interface with
other cyber functional areas, internal company management and
executives with a focus on effective program execution and mission
assurance.**Basic Qualifications:**- **Cyber Systems Engineer** :
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years Cybersecurity experience, a Master's
degree, or in lieu of a degree 6 years of relevant experience may
be considered.- **Principal Cyber Systems Engineer** : Bachelor's
Degree and 5+ years Cybersecurity experience, a Master's degree and
3 years of experience, a PhD and 0 years of experience, or in lieu
of a degree 9 years of relevant experience may be considered.-
Experience with DoD System Security Engineering (SSE) activities-
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical
Implementation Guide (STIG) and requirements development from
security controls- Must have an **active DoD Secret** security
clearance (with a background investigation completed within last 6
years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation)- Must have
the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
clearance before establishing a start date (contingency)**Preferred
Qualifications:**- Possess a DODD 8570 certification, such as
CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security
certifications- Experience with embedded computing environments and
technologies- Experience with cloud computing environments and
technologies- Experience working with and providing oversight and
guidance to different IPTs and Suppliers/Subcontractors- Experience
with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo or other
similar system modeling tools- Experience working with Agile
methodologies and development tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)-
Experience developing cybersecurity architectures- Experience
validating security assessments and reviews- Familiarity with U.S
Government Anti-Tamper (AT) processes and implementations-
Experience with NSA Type-1 certification process or Cross Domain
Solution implementation and certification- Experience working on a
multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals- Excellent
communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface
with all levels of employees and management- Ability to obtain a
DoD Top Secret security clearance to include a Single Scope
Background Investigation (SSBI)Salary Range: $78,300.00 -
$117,500.00Salary Range 2: $96,400.00 - $144,600.00Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
