Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal/
Sr. Principal Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals within our Integration and Test Organization. This
position will be located in Melbourne FL but may be remote or
hybrid .
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting planning and
coordinating all test requirements on a capture program. Candidate
shall display professionalism, motivation, strong leadership
skills, and ability to work independently. Should be able to
function as a key technical subject matter expert of the test team
and will interface directly with Program Management, the Chief
Engineer, and the customer to coordinate test requirements, test
planning, and test execution. The candidate should be comfortable
with making real-time decisions in a high-risk fast-paced test
environment. Able to collaborate in a team environment and
prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them.
Candidate will have strong mission systems including extensive
radar and mission comms ground and flight testing. They will help
evaluate threat scenarios and develop testing to validate
requirements and assess capabilities.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work

Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants,
aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most
efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight
- Establishes structural specifications, performs stress
analysis, and conducts performance tests.
- Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission
objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests
- Responsible for testing all customer samples
- Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and
serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management
- Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and
prepares reports
- Selects and supervises technicians during test
- Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented
procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering We

Basic Qualifications (Principal Test Conductor) :
- Bachelor's of Science Degree AND 5 years of related experience
OR Master's of Science Degree AND 3 years of related experience OR
PhD Degree AND 0 years related experience OR 9 years of related
experience in lieu of a degree
- Must have Mission Systems experience
- Must be able to travel Internationally under current COVID
restrictions and beyond (e.g. must be able to obtain a passport and
VISA if required; must have appropriate vaccinations to enter and
conduct business Internationally without excessive
quarantine).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Interim
Secret Security Clearance (or higher) prior to the commencement of
employment
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD
Secret Security Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as
determined by the Company
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access
(SAP) Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by
the Company Basic Qualifications (Sr. Principal Test Conductor) :
- Bachelor's of Science Degree AND 9 years of related experience
OR Master's of Science Degree AND 7 years of related experience OR
PhD Degree AND 4 years related experience OR 13 years of related
experience in lieu of a degree

- Must be able to travel Internationally under current COVID

- Experience in telemetry room as a test conductor and/or data
monitor for flight and ground testing.
- Recent Flight Test Engineer experience.
- Full understanding of all aspects of testing to include
requirements definition, test planning, test conduct and test
reporting.
- Experiences in a Gov/contractor Integrated Test Teat (ITT, ITF,
CTF, etc)
- Experience in capture/proposal development
- Recent system integration testing experience Salary Range:
$82,000 USD - $123,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $101,600 USD - $152,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
