Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. Providing recommendations to customer on system specification decisions
Advanced Stellar Acquisition Recording System Development and Operations
Advanced System Development and Testing
Thinking creatively
Motion Table Integration and test development
Flight Test Cell troubleshooting and integration
Traveling What you need to bring to the table:Experience with the use of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Knowledge of requirements management and CONOPS
Experience with decision analysis techniques
Proficiency in Configuration Management (CM) practices
Demonstrated strong character traits including accountability integrity, honesty, and trustWhat sets you apart:Experience in use of MATLAB and Simulink
Experience with programming languages such as C++ C#
Familiarity with the SSBN-R
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
Familiarity with D5 Mod1 Guidance Systems
Familiarity with Fire Control
Test station Operations, troubleshooting and maintenance
Enhanced ground test development
Experience with requirements databases (i.e. DOORS)
Experience with motion equipment
Ability to read configuration scripts
Creative thinking
Animation dev
Image generation SSW (OpenGL, CIGI, Diamond Visionics)One last thing:Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Target salary range: USD $86,600.00/Yr. - USD $96,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Company Overview
