part of a hardworking team of Quality Engineers, Quality Specialist
and Inspectors , you will inspect complex hardware for various
spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all
aspects of detailed part inspection. In this role you will be
tasked to perform daily part inspection utilizing state of the art
Hexagon Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) utilizing PC-DMIS
software to execute the inspections. This position requires
in-depth knowledge of GD&T and the ability to perform manual
inspections. This position will require knowledge and utilization
of nonconformance processes. The ideal candidate would thrive
tackling the day to day work in progress for the inspection work
center. This position will report directly to the Quality
Manufacturing Manager who is responsible for the conformance of all
space vehicle systems.We are looking for someone to apply their

- Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working
in space!
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of
aerospace components.
- Must be proficient with PC-DMIS software use for CMM
programming and operations
- Superior blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME
Y14.5M-1994 standard.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical
comparator, and surface plate work.
- Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value
components.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
- Desired knowledge of Polyworks and Spatial Analyzer
- PC DMIS NC on machine inspection.
- Faro and Verisurf knowledge.
- Basic machining knowledge.
- Familiar with Mastercam preferably X6 or higher.
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and
forklifts around flight critical hardware.
- Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, coating,
