Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer
Architect that leverages Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to
support the Advanced Hawkeye program's architecture in the
development of systems engineering models to capture architecture
baselines, accelerating systems engineering efforts on new
capability development programs, and working as part of a team
driving digital transformation to model-based practices within the
enterprise in Melbourne, FL.The engineer's efforts are as
follows:Performs technical planning, system integration,
verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and
effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at
all levels of total system product to include concept, design,
fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and
disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer
or product requirements into total systems solutions that
acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs
functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies,
requirements allocation and interface definition studies to
translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.This requisition may be filled at a higher grade
based on qualifications listed below.This requisition may be filled
at either an Associate Systems Engineer level or Systems Engineer
level.Basic Qualifications:Basic Qualifications for an Associate
Systems Engineer is a Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 0 years of related
engineering experience.Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer
is a Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of related engineering
experience OR a Masters' Degree in a Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.Ability to obtain a
DoD Secret security clearance and ability to maintainCandidate must
have the ability to obtain and maintain specific program access
after start of employmentExperience with Avionics SystemsPreferred
Qualifications:Active DoD Secret security clearance and ability to
maintainExperience in SysMLExperience in CameoExperience in support
of the integration of aircraft systems including integrated cockpit
systems, automatic flight control systems, and other assorted
avionics systems.Avionics engineering experience with flight
control systems, displays, and mission computersSalary Range:
$60,600 USD - $91,000 USDSalary Range 2: $73,400 USD - $110,000
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
