This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.Role:The selected candidate will become a member of a skilled team working in a dynamic environment. They will participate in System Engineering, Software Development, System Integration and Test, Operations and Maintenance, Change Management and Documentation for systems that will be used to verify and validate mission and vehicle systems through multiple levels of test.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop software for use across multi-domain, multi-platform system integration laboratoriesAnalyze and interpret formal and informal customer requirements and generate corresponding lower level requirements that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraintsConsult with customer stakeholders and present ideas in small group settingsCreate innovative technical design in compliance with established requirementsBuild high-quality, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical designDefine, implement, and document system testsPerform software and hardware troubleshooting as requiredPerform multiple platform system integrationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in software engineering OR a Master's degree and 3 years of experience in software engineering OR a PhDExperience with Object Oriented Programing development in either C++, C#, or PythonExperience with the Agile development lifecycleMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with multiple of the following languages: C++, C#, Python, SQLExperience with the followingProtocols: TCP/IP & UDPHW Interfaces: 1553, A429, 1394Atlassian Tool SuiteDecomposition / comprehension of Interface Control Documents of varying complexityDeveloping OS agnostic software; Linux & WindowsDevelopment within Interactive Development EnvironmentsActive DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Salary Range: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
