Will input all dental services and patient demographic information into the HMS System for school district studentxe2x80x99s patriating in the program.nIndividual will assist in school oral health promotion presentations. Prepare appropriate forms and contact parents who have not returned permission forms.nIndividual will assist the Dental Hygienist in executing sealant program in schools and will contact classroom teachers and arrange to escort students back and forth from their classroom to the Dental Hygienist.nWill execute follow-up phone calls to inform parents of students who have active decay noted.nEnters and verifies personal Employee Activity Report (EARxe2x80x99s) in the HMS within seven days of service. Will submit timesheet and other indicated required paperwork on time as requested by direct supervisor.nWorks in conjunction with the School Health Program school clinic staff and may assist in school clinic activities when time allows outside the Dental Sealant Program.nTreats the public and other staff with courtesy, dignity and communicates a positive public employee image at all times. Maintains confidentiality at all times with respect to medical information clients and other staff.nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:n 1. Knowledge of clerical setting.n 2. Knowledge of computers for data entry, Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), electronic medical record.n 3. Skills in front office and back office procedures, including, but not limited to check in/check out/registration/cashiering.n 4. Knowledge of prep medical records (including electronic) and retrieving client information.n 5. Basic knowledge of medical records process, laws and regulationsnQualifications:nMinimum -n * Clerical experiencen * Experience with billing insurance claimsn * Proficienct in Microsoft Officen * Experience with medical records preparation and records keepingn * Florida Department of Health is required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
