This position is located in Melbourne, FL. The candidate will perform the SOW of the E-2D Cockpit Technical Lead guiding the development of the architecture for the HECTR program. -Key Responsibilities:Provide engineering support for the integration of aircraft systems including integrated cockpit systems, automatic flight control systems, TCAS, TAWS, Weather Radar and other assorted avionics systems.Assist in the preparation and support the verification of aircraft avionics and Prime Mission Equipment installations and FAA certification documents.Provide support for the development of system safety documents.Requirements development and analysis and supporting trade studies.Manage suppliers, review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test execution.Informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab, troubleshooting hardware in the lab.Supporting flight test activities and post flight data analysis, and resolution of flight test anomalies.Basic Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline, AND 14 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, OR a Master's degree AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or a Ph.D. AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP).Preferred Qualifications: Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) experienceRNP RNAV certification experience - process for attaining certificationExperience designing to RTCA DO-178 commercial standards for RNP RNAV certificationExperience -designing to RTCA DO-200 standardCurrent/active Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)Salary Range: $134,700.00 - $202,100.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base -pay.
