Co., Inc. (PFC), Precision Mechanical Inc. (PMI), and Precision
Enterprises, Inc. (PEI) - separate, but complementary, business
units. Precision's ISO 9001 / AS9100 registered facilities are
located on twenty acres of industrial properties in Florida's Space
Coast. Established in 1964, PFC offers fabrication, chemical
pretreatment, precision cleaning, testing and painting services to
our customers. PMI has been offering mechanical services to a wide
array of government, industrial, commercial, and institutional
customers since 1986. PMI installs process piping, plumbing and
HVAC systems in Florida and Colorado. PEI is an authorized sales
and service representative for Scheuerle / Nicolas / KAMAG heavy
duty / large scale transporters and trailers in North America.
Our fast-paced and growing company is looking for the right person
to fill an integral position within the Precision Team.
Skilled in general mechanical abilities. Must be able to read
blueprints; layout to tight tolerances. Must be able to weld 6G and
pass a proficiency test.
Using arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches, welds together
metal components and alloys such as pipelines, boilers for a
variety of complex precision assemblies.
Involves a considerable amount of welding to high strength and
pressure requirements. Joins together components of fabricated
sheet metal assemblies; cut, trim, or scarf metal objects to
dimensions, as specified by layout, work orders, or blueprints.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years related experience and/or training
Welding certifications highly desired
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, walk, stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to sit.The employee must frequently lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Equipment to be Used
Arc welders, gas welders, gas torches.
