National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for a **Lot Attendant at our Melbourne Airport location (1 Air Terminal Pkwy, Melbourne, FL 32901).** Lot Attendant delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. Establishes and maintains clear communications with other Lot attendants and management team to ensure a consistent, superior level of customer service. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

+ This position is located at Melbourne Airport (MLB)

+ This position is full time (40hrs/week)

+ This position pays $10.50/hr

+ This position requires a lot of walking (5-7 miles a day)

+ Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following full-time schedule:

+ **Sunday: 8am-4:30pm**

+ **Monday: 8am-4:30pm**

+ **Tuesday: 8am-4:30pm**

+ **Wednesday: OFF**

+ **Thursday: OFF**

+ **Friday: 8am-4:30pm**

+ **Saturday: 11:30am-8pm**

**Responsibilities**

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Removing SOLD vehicles from inventory area and stage them for delivery

+ Searching lot for specific units, and organize loads for shipping

+ Move newly installed vehicles to wash area

+ Position deleted units in their appropriate inventory areas

+ Move units to/from on-site reconditioning vendors

+ Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road

+ Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner

+ Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles

+ Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely

+ May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone

+ May be asked to clean vehicles

+ Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

**Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:**

+ Limited to light physical effort is required including the handling of average-weight objects (up to 25 pounds).

+ Generally requires a great deal of standing for long periods of time, walking and bending.

+ Requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

+ Requires some flexibility in working hours.

**Qualifications**

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Must have a minimum of 6 months of work experience.

+ Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.

+ No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years.

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

+ Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Must be willing to accept full-time employment (40 hrs/week)

+ Must be willing to accept starting pay of $10.50/hour

+ Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.

+ Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

+ Must be able to stand or walk (5-7 miles per day) for long periods of time.

+ Must be willing to work at the Melbourne Airport (zip code 32901)

+ Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following full-time schedule:
