Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Wire Rope Fabricator to join their team. As a Wire Rope Fabricator, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting essential manufacturing processes of wire rope and chains. Must be a heavy lifter and an expert at reading a tape measure! Job Title: Wire Rope Fabricator / Rigger Location: Altamonte Springs, FL Pay: $18-19 per hour Shift: M-F 7:30-4:30 What's the Job? Fabricate and repair wire rope and chain slings and assemblies. Achieve qualification as an apprentice (minimum) or journeyman splicer. May operate forklift as needed Perform other functions as required to support the manufacturing process. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. What's Needed? Practical expertise at using a tape measure: proper positioning, reading down to the 1/16 inch Experience in a manufacturing role working with various tools to include power saw. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Comfortable standing for extended periods of time. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Valid FL driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR). What's in it for me?
