Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a well-qualified Windows Systems Administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in the Melbourne, FL area. Roles and responsibilities include: Maintain smooth operation of classified multi-user computing SIPRNET environment; coordinating with network engineering, end users, customer and IT management as required. Perform regular standard maintenance of systems to include IAVM and patch deployment, backups, problem resolution, and configuration management. Recommend infrastructure design and implement systems including enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists. Act as Trusted Agent for user SIPRNet CAC/PKI tokens to include Requesting from Root Authority (RA), issuance, resetting of PINS, securing of blank tokens, tracking and return of unused tokens as required to designated sponsor. Implement STIG and HBSS Configurations to secure systems based on customer defined standards; recording open findings and assisting in development of remediation Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) as required Perform ACAS Scanning, review and recording of findings and mitigate solution Plan for Disaster Recovery and execute regular system Backups as required Perform and maintain hardware Software Inventory lists Troubleshoot and resolve end user computer issues and restore functionality Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts and develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format. Works under minimal direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions. This position is contingent on Program Award. The selected candidate will be extended a contingent offer of employment, andthe start date will be determined once theprogram has been awarded to Northrop Grumman. ESCSOITS3500 Basic Qualifications: Master's degree and3 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of IT experience; OR an Associates degree and 7 years of IT experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of IT experience is required Experience with basic networking conceptsincluding subnets, routing, and VLAN architectureis needed Must have a current DOD 8570 IAT level 2 baseline certification (example: Security+ CE); OR must have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start date Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to work after hours, and weekends, as needed Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum)in order to be considered Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience maintaining systems on either SIPRnet or NIPRnet environments would be ideal Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments VMWare ESXi version 6.0 (or later) and/or VDI-Horizon View experience would be nice to have Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment Server management Currently valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP or similar security certification highly desirable Cisco experience, and/or Cisco certifications helpful Windows Active Directory, LDAP knowledge Familiarity with NetApp or other SAN Technology Platforms Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk). Rudimentary Scripting (PowerShell) is desirable Creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.
