Job Description:

Job DescriptionThe software test engineer will be primarily focused on defect resolution and automated testing of flight software using Python. May be involved in CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing and maintenance. A MUST:US Citizenship and an Active DOD Secret Clearance with the clearance award or last periodic investigation having been closed in the last 5 years. Special Access will have to be obtained after offer prior to starting. REQUIRED EDUCATION:* Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years in software engineering (Or MS Degree with 3 yrs experience in SWE, or a recent PhD Graduate in EE, CS or CE)REQUIRED SKILLS:(1) Experience programming in C++(2) EITHER (a) Experience coding in Python OR (b) Experience testing softwareA PLUS (NICE TO HAVE - NOT REQUIRED): Embedded Systems VxWorks or other RTOS Debuggers, Emulators Java programming Linux Agile Environment DOORS Git Eclipse Lev 5 SRS test Aerial Vehicle or Spacecraft Management software Flight Control Software, GNC, or similar
