  • Work Location: Kennedy Space CPosition SummaryThe Mobile Launcher 2 Training Coordinator / HR Representative is responsible for the coordination and administration of training and development programs specific to the ML2 project site. This role reports to the HR Project Manager directly, within the projects Business Services department. The position is located on the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.This is a long-term assignment with a 5 - 8's work schedule. The work hours are from 7:00 am 3:30 pm., Monday Friday, but work hours are flexible. This position may require additional overtime hours as deemed necessary.Responsibilities
    • Identifies and coordinates project training needs and activities with responsible department managers, supervisors, and other project personnel
    • Provides input to or leads design and development of new training initiatives where a need is identified
    • Establishes methods and means to track training for project personnel
    • Liaises with project leads and supervisors to monitor course content to ensure it stays relevant and provides recommendations for updates/inclusions
    • Develops, maintains, and generates project training metrics, dashboards, and reports
    • Coordinates and/or schedules sessions as required for various HR training programs and initiatives
    • Facilitates assigned training programs at site as requested, which may include New Hire Orientations
    • Assists with coordination of site Functional presentations and training as requested
    • Coordinates logistics, facilities and resource requirements for training programs
    • Provides guidance to employees and management in relation to project training initiatives
    • Performs other general Human Resources duties and special assignments as required, e.g., onboarding and off boarding activitiesQualifications and SkillsBasic Qualifications
      • Must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
      • Level I: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent; or 6 years related experience in lieu of degree
      • Level II: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent; or 7 years related experience in lieu of degreeAdditional Qualifications
        • Previous experience in assessing and facilitating training needs
        • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate training requests
        • Demonstrated ability to prepare and monitor training worksheets, reports, and metrics
        • Strong written and oral communication, and collaboration skills, including excellent listening and interpersonal skills
        • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees, in a supportive and customer focused manner
        • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and build relationships based on cooperation and mutual support with key staff members
        • Ability to perform onboarding, orientation, and off boarding activities
        • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
        • Ability to be proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
        • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HR dashboards and training systems
        • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee informationPreferred Qualifications
          • Solid understanding and proficiency utilizing Bechtel HR systems, work processes and policies, preferably with SAP and other proprietary HR systems
          • Knowledge of Bechtel functional organizations and organizational structure
