Job Description:

Job Title: Director, Compensation Job Code: CHQ20192211-34932 Location: Melbourne, Florida Description: The Director, Compensation leads a team responsible for the execution of L3Harris' non-executive compensation programs, ensuring excellence in service, accuracy compliance and efficiency. Duties: Review the effectiveness of current non-executive compensation programs, including managing the participation in market data surveys, evaluate best practices and drive process improvement initiatives Recommend and design new forward-leaning compensation strategies as needed to drive the attraction, retention, and engagement of a highly-skilled and diverse workforce Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relevant to non-executive compensation Lead the annual non-executive compensation planning processes Responsible for the oversight and administration of all company non-executive incentive programs, including sales-incentive programs. Responsible for recommending modifications to programs as needed to maintain competitive nature of non-executive variable pay Provide support on compensation related matters in support of mergers and acquisition (M&A) activities, including due diligence and integration projects Responsible for the on-going review and evaluation of salary structures and job evaluation processes Partner with segment HR and compensation teams, HR Business partners, Talent Acquisition and other HR team members, to provide compensation and consulting services Facilitate salary, bonus, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption analyses as well as Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) or other audits Partner with HRIS in the design, development, testing and implementation of compensation tools and data analytics Develop and maintain communication and training programs aimed to educate employees on our compensation programs Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or related field of study with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 13 years relevant experience A minimum of 5 years engaged in compensation for a global organization Preferred Qualifications: MBA preferred Expert knowledge of compensation program design, administration, regulations and trends Experience with designing and implementing global job and pay structures, including experience with Mercer's International Position Evaluation System (IPE) or Hay's Point Method system In-depth experience with major compensation salary surveys Experience with administration of sales and non-sales incentives Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to influence and interact successfully with senior management Strong leadership and change management skills, as well as demonstrated ability in relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy Demonstrated master proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work with tight deadlines, multi-task and adapt to change priorities Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar designation preferred -
