Production Supervisor - AMReports to:
Production Manager
Supervisory Description:
Directly supervise production workers and support staff. Carry out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include input into
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning
and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
personnel issues. Verifies product quality is in conformance with
company specifications, HACCP/CTS guidelines, and quality
standards; confirms that all documentation and records are
completely and properly filled out and processed. Ensures that the
product is processed under safe and sanitary conditions.
Responsibilities also include the attainment of budgetary levels
throughout the process; identifying and communicating losses in
area of responsibility; supporting the implementation of new
products, processes, or equipment; and promoting changes in current
standards through employee training and feedback. Other duties may
be assigned as needed. May be assigned to work alternate shifts
based on needs.Job Functions:1) Review and download pertinent
information with other supervisors and manager i.e. mechanical
issues, personnel needs etc.2) Interpret company policies to
workers and enforce hygiene and safety regulations3) Coordinate
classroom and on-the-job training for new and transferred
employees4) Conduct training in new procedures, OSHA mandated
compliance programs etc.5) Maintain time and production records6)
Estimate and inspect materials needed to complete job tasks7)
Review production schedule and estimate worker requirements for
completion8) Interpret specifications and job orders to employees
and assign duties as required9) Direct the setup and adjustment of
machinery10) Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production
schedules11) Identify and implement measures to improve production
methods, equipment performance and the quality of the product12)
Direct changes in working conditions and use of equipment to
increase efficiency of the work crew13) Analyze and resolve work
problems and assist employees in solving work problems14) Inspect
product to verify conformance to specifications and assume
responsibility for the Quality System requirements.15) Facilitates
work group and plant safety meetings16) Participate in internal and
external audits, inspections and visits17) Ensure compliance to all
plant safety programs, policies, and procedures, and ensure
employee's compliance to safety.18) Execute special orders.19) Must
adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and PracticesEducation
and/or Experience: Minimum Requirements:HS Diploma or GED
required2+ Years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a
supervisory type role (Lead, Supervisor, Manager)Computer
proficiency: Windows based software applications (Word, Excel,
Access, Powerpoint) requirePreferred Requirements:Bachelor's degree
from four-year college or university preferred3.5+ Years of
Leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.Computer

9-12 Hour shift. Flexibility to work other schedules and shifts as
required. Overtime is required.2) Environment - Work divided
between office and plant environment. While in the plant noise
levels will be minimal to moderate and temperature will be
controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of
slippery footing and dust from dry ingredients.Compensation and
Benefits:The base salary range for this full-time, salaried
position is between$57,475.00 - $92,530.00Individual base pay
depends on work location and additional factors such as experience,
job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay
may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer
competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on
