weeks - Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is seeking an
experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring
Epic EMR proficiency, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and
availability for night shifts with weekend and float requirements.
Details - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting -
Patient ratio of 1:5 - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
(18:45–07:15) - Every other weekend required, or a total of 6
weekend shifts per 6-week period based on unit needs - Floating
required — traveler will have a home base unit but may float to
other units or campuses within the health system network - No
on-call requirements - Epic EMR experience required Requirements -
Active FL or compact RN license required — pending licenses not
accepted - Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS - Minimum 2
years of RN experience required - Epic EMR experience required - 2
professional references from authority figures (Manager,
Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the past year
required for consideration Additional Information - First-time
travelers are not accepted for this position - Candidates who have
previously worked at this facility as staff, employees, or
contracted travelers must wait 1 year after their departure before
being eligible - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as
travelers — no radius restrictions apply - Flu vaccine required
from 10/31 through 3/31; medical and religious exemptions accepted
- All RTO/scheduling requests must be submitted upfront -
Solid-color scrubs required — tops and bottoms must match; no logos
or printed patterns permitted - Free parking is provided with a
decal issued at orientation - Timekeeping is managed via Kronos
using a badge swipe system American Traveler Job ID P-679322. Pay
package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
