individualized orthopedic care. The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking an
enthusiastic and driven candidate that has previous outpatient
physical therapy experience to join our dynamic team as a Physical
Therapy Assistant . The Physical Therapy Assistant will work
directly with our patients on restoring their functionality and
alleviating their pain. Our Physical Therapy Assistants will focus
on administering medically prescribed therapy as outlined by
treatment plan coordinated with our Physicians and Physical
Therapists. This role requires experience with hands on patient
care in an outpatient setting, exemplary customer service skills
and a passion for quality healthcare. We believe every patient
should receive the best possible care, our practice offers an array
of services specializing in general orthopedics, spine care, sports
reconstruction, adult reconstruction and non-surgical treatments.
We currently have eleven Orthopedic Surgeons, one Interventional
Pain Management Physician, Mid-Level Providers, and a Physical
Therapy team who serve patients at four locations within Volusia
and Flagler counties. What the Physical Therapy Assistant will do :
Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic
devices by administering manual exercises; instructing,
encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical
activities Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments by
observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending
adjustments and modifications Documents patient care services by
charting HER Maintains safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects
patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies
and protocols Maintains professional and technical knowledge by
attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in
professional societies Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed Requirements: Experience and Abilities:
Current Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant Florida
license Previous customer service experience, preferably in
medical/healthcare setting Proficiency in the use of Microsoft
Office Products, EPM and EHR software applications, preferably
Athena Valid Driver’s License / Clean driving record / Proof of
