Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Melbourne, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,792 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Florida State or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required. CPI preferred. Must-Have: - 2 references from authority figures within the last year must be included with submission. - Flu vaccine required during the designated flu season with Medical/Religious exemptions only. - COVID-19 vaccine required with Medical/Religious exemptions only. Description: This role requires working in the emergency department. On-call, holiday, hurricane, and floating requirements apply. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4. You must work weekends, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle. You may be required to float to multiple locations. Candidates must have experience with patient ratios of 4. Charting is done using the EPIC system. The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily visits average around 200, with a facility having approximately 50 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. All patient diagnoses are included. This role will require familiarity with various clinical skills, including the management of complex emergency situations. Candidates should be prepared to participate in self-directed learning modules as part of orientation and ongoing education.
