peritoneal cycler/CCPD experience - Experience with administration
of blood/blood products during treatment - Baxter experience -
Fresenius J/K experience - Gambro experience - Ability to
initiate/set up dialysis treatment - Experience with machine alarm
troubleshooting procedures - Experience post dialysis treatment -
Experience in interpretation/management of dysrhythmias -
Experience in symptom management - Two references from authority
figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within
the last year Description: Perform hemodialysis and therapeutic
plasma exchange in the unit and at the bedside. Peritoneal dialysis
and continuous renal replacement therapy are performed at the
bedside. Average daily census is 30 patients. Weekend requirement
is every other weekend, or a total of six weekend shifts per
six-week period. On-call schedule is required during the week and
weekends, including every other Saturday. Scheduled call on Sundays
will vary according to call needs. Floating to various facilities
may be required to meet needs. Open to accommodating block
scheduling. Flu vaccine required from October 31 to March 31, with
medical or religious exemptions only. Provided equipment includes
PrismaFlex, Fresenius K, and Tandem peritoneal dialysis and Amia
cycler. The unit handles patients with acute renal failure and
chronic renal failure. Special procedures include hemodialysis and
therapeutic plasma exchange, with the ability to troubleshoot
alarms and manage complications effectively. Staffing includes
interdisciplinary support such as interpretation services, rapid
response teams, and pharmacy. Candidates should expect a dynamic
work environment focusing on adult and geriatric patient
