Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years recent Medicare Home Health experience required. License: Florida State or compact license required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience required. OASIS experience required. Post-op surgical home health experience required. Ability to care for adults in a home health setting. Experience with Pleurx drains, wound care, wound vac management, feeding tube care, and phlebotomy skills. Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in home health care. This role involves managing a caseload of 27-30 cases per day. Nurses are required to work Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation of five weekend shifts every six weeks. On-call requirements may be necessary. Successful candidates will manage complex patient care with a focus on surgical recovery including orthopedic and general surgeries. Interdisciplinary team support is available for various patient diagnoses such as wounds, CHF, COPD, joint surgeries, and postoperative care. Candidates must submit two references from authority figures within the last year. Flu vaccine compliance is required during the flu season with limited exemption options. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication with patients and families. Experience working with adults in their homes is essential.
