Orlando Health s Neuroscience Institute invites you to explore our Board Eligible/Board Vascular Neurology opportunity within a thriving physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system.

The ideal candidate for this dynamic opportunity is a medical professional who is a fellowship-trained, Board Eligible/Board Certified Vascular Neurologist and must have a Florida state medical license.

Additional responsibilities include specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions of cerebrovascular disease, which are conditions that affect the blood vessels in the brain and spinal cord.

Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute specialties include: Stroke and Vascular Neurology Memory Disorders Endovascular Neurosurgery Movement Disorders Neuro-ophthalmology Headache and Facial Pain Neuromuscular Disorders Interventional Pain Neuropsychology Neurosurgery Multiple Sclerosis Spine Care and Reconstruction Epilepsy Physical Medicine and Rehab

Unique Features

• This practice will consist of a balance of outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital service at multiple hospitals, telemedicine, and ED call, with opportunities for clinical research and educational pursuits
• Responsible for, on average, 6 overnight calls per 4-week block. Overnight call is via video from home after hours. No non-stroke overnight call.
• Work with stroke-trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers
• Opportunity to be involved in medical student and resident education. Practice Highlights:
  Collaborate with world-class specialists across departments, including Neurointerventional Surgery, Neurocritical Care, and multiple divisions throughout the institution. Treat diverse patients with a complex case mix comparable to major East Coast academic centers.
  • Provide comprehensive coverage for the stroke unit and manage acute stroke cases in the Emergency Department across our system and for inpatients
  • Access to ORMC's dedicated facilities: 16 Neurocritical Care beds, 16 Neuroscience Stepdown Unit beds, 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit beds, and 32 Neuroscience medical beds
