the Department of Defense (DoD) industry seeking an experienced
Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Position Overview:The CFO will play a
critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the
organization, ensuring financial integrity, and facilitating growth
in alignment with the company's objectives. The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience in financial management within the
DoD industry, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, budget
management, and strategic financial planning.Key
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting,
forecasting, and financial reporting, to support business
initiatives and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with DCAA and DCMA regulations, managing
audit processes and financial oversight.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize
resources and drive operational efficiencies.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide insights on
financial performance and assist in strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk assessment to
support business sustainability and growth.
- Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers,
acquisitions, and partnerships within the defense sector.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring and
developing the finance team.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
MBA or CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of financial leadership experience, with at
least 5 years in a CFO role or equivalent experience in the DoD
industry.
- Strong knowledge of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance
practices.
- Proven experience in strategic financial planning and analysis
in a government contracting environment.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and
performance management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging
