Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Manager Product
Support 1 to provide objective-oriented direction and work
assignment to team members utilizing management guidelines &
general policies. Manages a segment of a program or a function with
responsibility for the direct supervision/management of the
staff.

Responsibilities include:
Planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule,
technical performance, and quality, full responsibility for all
aspects of program performance on a mid-size technical
services-type contract.
Full working knowledge of procedures and practices in a graphic
environment.
Oversees projects and task assigned to the organizational group
performed by exempt employees. Becomes involved as necessary to
assist in meeting schedules or to resolve technical or operational
problems. May accomplish results through exempt employees.
Executes department procedures that typically affect individual
employees within own department.
Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within
budget.
Accomplishes results through experienced exempt employees who
exercise significant latitude and independence in their
assignments.
Functions as an advisor to unit regarding tasks, projects, and
operations. Actively involved in daily operations as required to
meet production schedules or to resolve complex problems.
Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer
representatives at various management levels concerning operations
or scheduling or specific phases of projects or contracts. Conducts
briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal
external representatives concerning specifics operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of
relevant experience with at least 4 years of experience in
graphic/illustration development for use in Interactive Electronic
Technical Manual (IETM) Development. Will consider 4 years of
experience with a Bachelor's Degree; Or, 2 years or experience with
a Master's Degree.
Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts,
practices, and standards for technical publications (IETM) graphic
development in an operational environment.
Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates
the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings,
schematics, specifications, and have experience with a CPLM/CAD
engineering environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a dynamic environment to coordinate and schedule
events to maximize efficiencies.
Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as well as
oral and written communication skills.
Applicants must be willing to work a flexible work schedule to meet
program milestones and support customer priorities and direct
reports.
Must have a current DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to
maintain. The Security background investigation granting that
clearance must have been completed within the last 5 years.
Must be able to be granted program access within 365 days from
submission.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Eagle/EPS Publishing System.
Working knowledge of Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and
Animate) as well as PTC software (Isodraw and CREO programs).
Experience with CPLM.
Experience graphic creation utilizing XML/S1000D International
Specification for Technical Publications.
Experience supporting certification of technical data for accuracy
and incorporating changes/updates.
10-14 years of experience as technical illustrator/graphic
artist.
Experience managing teams of 10 or more direct reports.
Experience collaborating across different teams while developing
processes and procedures.
Salary Range: $87,900 USD - $131,900 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,

and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
