Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, Multi-Domain Command and Control Business Unit is seeking a Program Director to lead and manage a new large, complex capture development effort for the U.S. Navy's next generation E-2D Advanced Hawkeye in Melbourne, Florida.The successful candidate will be a senior leader who has run large DoD programs and who has demonstrated experience with the Department of Defense's acquisition process and within the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will focus on being a servant-leader whose main goal will be standing up a program team to pursue this capture. 25-50% travel should be expected.Roles and Responsibilities:Provides direction in the creation of new program offerings to meet emerging customer requirements.In support of Northrop Grumman, interfaces and represents the company with senior military and government officials and with industry both in the U.S. and globally.Provides seamless support with the E-2D Advanced Mission Capabilities integrated program team, determining what capability would be applicable for the next generation command and control platform.Duties include key elements of program management, strategy and business development, customer engagement, financial management and contract oversight and organizational/people management.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, plus minimum of 15 years of management experience inclusive of program cost, schedule, and technical performance management or Master's Degree with minimum of 12 years of management experience inclusive of program cost, schedule, and technical performance management.Strong organizational, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with senior Government and military officials and senior executives within industry.At least 5 years of experience with DoD and U.S. Navy requirements and acquisition processes and programs.Demonstrated success in leading large, complex businesses and organizations.Ability to make and manage change decisions that impact the organization's structure, processes, operations, and services.An active DoD Secret Security Clearance and SSBI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.Knowledge of Northrop Grumman internal processes, procedures, and organization.Operational U.S. Navy Command and Control experience.Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering.Salary Range: $171,100 USD - $256,700 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
