This leadership position is located in Melbourne, FL.Candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the Training System requirements Analysis (TSRA), development of all training courseware, and standup and utilization of a LMS/LCMS to support the program. Successful candidate will develop/manage metrics that drive outcomes for cost/schedule, engage in process improvements, quality of training courseware products and implementation of Instructional System Design (ISD) practices during Training development. Responsibilities include leading a team to establish, plan, and deliver recommended solutions to functional requirements associated with program and Training System requirements.   • Cost, schedule, and technical performance for all training aspects of program performance on a EMD-type contract.
  • Leadership of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide weekly status and reporting
  • Ensures program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated
  • Able to present to all levels of leadership and customers
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advance knowledge of ISD principals and process
  • Advance knowledge of the TSRA process and procedures
  • Strong background in Earned Value Management principles
  • Ability to communicate with influence and impact, effectively conveying insights, a clear point of view and recommendations in ways that inspire action and advance business strategy.
  • Ability to manage a high performing team of core learning and development professionals
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must possess strong customer interface, presentation and communication skills. The manager will be responsible for defining and implementing optimum support concepts that will ensure effective integration with program schedules and budgets.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of professional/military experience to include a background in instructional design and knowledge of instructional design tools and methodologies
    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
    • Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of IPT/Program Management processes (CAM processes, project planning and scheduling, cost control, change control, EVMS, staffing, coordination and oversight of technical work effort and risk and opportunity management.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with a high capacity for influence, collaboration, and consensus-building
      • Strong critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture
      • Active DoD Top Secret
      • Aviation and Aerospace Technical Training supervisory experience
      • Current Special Program access clearance" Salary Range: $102,500 USD - $153,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
