part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be
responsible for building, managing and leading a team of engineers,
technical program managers, welders and logistics personnel
dedicated to building, assembling, and integrating development
hardware. You will guide your team as they transition hardware to
production-ready while working with vehicle teams to acquire the
necessary manufacturing resources.We are looking for someone to
apply their technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to
quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for
our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:
- Work autonomously to lead your team and assess their
performance
- Build an extraordinary team that carries out the work with a
bias for action and delivers results
- Team with program and project managers to ensure your team
meets design, build, and test milestones for launch vehicles
- Drive research and development hardware into a repeatable
production product
- Deliver hardware with improved quality, reduced cost, and
optimized build schedule
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Lead activities to discover issues, identify root cause, and
implement solutionsQualifications:
- Bachelor of Science
- Prior management experience with demonstrated success in
fast-paced environment
- Experience designing, planning, executing, and delivering
rocket hardware
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
- Confirmed experience and successful track record
developing/starting new manufacturing processes
- Strong written, personal, and technical skills
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
