Job Description:
Our Order Management Lead is a critical role that includes
providing leadership and instruction so others on the team can
complete tasks quickly and effectively. This individual will act as
a mentor by providing leadership and expertise within the
department. The role includes but is not limited to processing of
all orders/transactions submitted to OM. Duties include ensuring
accurate, timely and efficient processing of our sales and customer
orders. This role also plays a large part in driving
solution-oriented decisions, collaborating closely with
cross-functional departments on special projects, new functionality
testing, implementing and documenting process changes, etc. The
selected resource will also contribute to the company's overall
order management strategy to help ensure we have a seamless and
efficient order to cash process.Job Description
- Well-organized, able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in
a fast paced and high -pressure environment. Able to work
independently as well as in teams.
- Strong research & analytical skills for data-driven decision
making
- Drive administrative error reduction by leading continuous
improvement/re-education sessions
- Participate in cross-functional projects that will help scale
the business and streamline process
- Participate as OM representative in Systems testing and
regression testing and be responsible the overall direction,
coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of
specific projects (from OM requirements standpoint)
- Issue credits and rebills of invoices, reconcile oracle
transactions to line up with contracts and revenue systems
- Document processing procedures (SOP) and best practices to
facilitate training of new team members
- Train new team members
- Collaborate with the various groups (sales/pro
services/GDOT/warehouse) and levels of management to resolve
issues
- Other duties as assignedRequired Experience
- 2-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related
industry preferred or 5 + years of prior experience required
- Advanced Excel skills required (formulas, VLOOKUPs, Pivot
Tables)
- Analytical and critical thinking skills required
- The position requires excellent verbal and written
communication skills, and requires independent analysis,
decision-making skills and using prior experience and knowledge of
company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard
problem
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multiple
duties assigned
- Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word,
etc.)Preferred skills: Oracle experience, Accounting basics,
