Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Program Director 1 (Integration and Operations) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on our Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) program. This leadership role will be located in Melbourne, Florida.This is a leadership position with daily executive interactions, and selected candidate will display consistent impeccable judgment and embody Northrop Grumman leadership behaviors. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels, including executive leadership.Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and manage the business unit VP's strategy and presentation needs for upcoming reports, meetings and events such as staff meetings, reviews, and sector and corporate reporting. Gives guidance to program leadership teams. Represents the division VP in key meetings or events and on specific issues.
  • Create the content and coordinate the review and update of financial and non-financial metrics such as monthly program reviews and other briefings/reports in support of data calls. Provides clear and concise direction to the program leadership team.
  • Manage the business unit administrative and operational affairs, lead communications across the business unit, facilitate the dissemination of information, and expedite the implementation of business initiatives.
  • Lead a team of cross discipline directors, managers and professionals at various locations. Responsible for all aspects of training, budget, courseware developers, nominations, dashboards, and execution.
  • Establish key initiatives in support of the MDC2 strategic plan.As a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do.     • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 10+ years of related professional/military experience to include a background in project/program management within the defense/aerospace industry, OR a Master's degree AND 8+ years of related professional/military experience to include a background in project/program management within the defense/aerospace industry.
    • Must have at least 5+ years experience as a program manager
    • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
    • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).Preferred Qualifications:
      • Extensive experience working in a matrix organization
      • Demonstrated experience engaging with Executive Leadership
      • Demonstrated strong performance in Program Management of multiple programs
      • Demonstrated experience leading a large team with profit and loss
      • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
      • Ability to successfully engage across all levels in the organization

        Salary Range: 171100 - 256700

        Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
