Lead Enterprise Network Engineer (UAE Expat) Description: Job Title: Lead Enterprise Network Engineer (UAE Expat) Job Location: Melbourne, FL (Expat assignment in the UAE) Job ID: ES20181###-####0 Please Note: This position includes a 30 month expat assignment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Job Description: Lead Enterprise Network Engineer and Architect on a large international program. The position will be based in Palm Bay, FL to start, followed by a field assignment located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) supporting the program s 30 month assignment. Responsible for the Enterprise Network architecture, modeling and design, reporting into program Chief Engineer. Responsible for all Enterprise Network engineering activities pertaining to CDRL's, trades, requirements analysis, management & compliance, design milestones (SRR, SDR, PDR,CDR) and test/verification activities. As well as providing guidance, coaching, and direction to the supporting team of network engineers. Qualifications: Master s degree in engineering and a minimum of 7 years of previous experience in system engineering. Bachelor s degree in engineering and a minimum 9 years of previous experience in system engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Battle Management systems with ground tactical vehicle integration Minimum of 5 years experience implementing a wired/wireless ground tactical enterprise network to include network and enterprise software services. Preferred Additional Skills: Ability to excel in a very dynamic environment. Current DoD Secret Clearance is highly preferred Prior experience developing CONOPS, Use Cases, model based system architectures, and network performance analysis Experience with customer and subcontractor technical interfacing and will act as technical advisor to the Chief Engineer. Prior experience working on large programs (> $100M) with engineering teams exceeding 30 people to include two or more major subcontract elements. Prior experience leading Enterprise Network Engineering teams exceeding 10 people. Proven ability to coordinate tasking across several disciplines. Domain knowledge in one or more of the following technical areas is preferred: DODAF and/or NATO Architecture Framework Modeling Development of CONOPS, Use Cases, UML/SysML based system architectures Network Performance Modeling (OPNET or equivalent) C4ISR Systems and Operations Tactical networking (technology and protocols) Battle Management and Communication Systems Enterprise networks to include Data Centers, and Management Systems Enterprise Software Frameworks (SOA,ESB, VMWare) Domain knowledge of Network Management Systems & NetOps (NetBoss, Tivoli or equivalent) Domain knowledge of network technology and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LACP, FCoE, Metro Ethernet Network Security Technology to include encryption (HAIPE, IPSec, Juniper SRX, Cisco Nexus) IA and/or Networking Certifications (CISSP, SEC+, CCNP) Security Clearance: This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain and maintain. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
