Radar Signal Processing Engineer Description: Radar Signal Processing Engineer Job Code: SIS20182###-####1 Job Location: Melbourne, FL Job Description: This position will be responsible for design, development, and integration of SAR processing and remote sensing algorithms for our Geospatial business unit of Harris Corporation. This position will support solutions. This position will support signal processing research and development activities as part of a larger research team dedicated to the customer mission. Responsibilities will include improving existing processing algorithms to increase throughput, accuracy and effectiveness, and integration of demonstrated technologies, advancing and implementing known concepts, and developing new technical solutions. Our Geospatial solutions serve a broad array of government, civil and commercial customers by enhancing information superiority, contributing to our national security and providing actionable data for the protection of property and human life. We specialize in high-reliability airborne and space-based remote sensing payloads that offer active and motion imaging and data processing, exploitation and dissemination. We also provide solutions that map and monitor the earth for a variety of commercial and governmental users. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years applicable experience with MS degree in Engineering/Math or related field. 4+ year of experience with MATLAB and Python and/or C++ Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance preferred MS degree with specialty in signal processing preferred Work experience with signal processing and SAR processing systems and standards, exploitation, and image formation preferred Other skills of interest are IFSAR, ISAR, Non-Coherent processing, Image Registration, Kalman estimation and optimal estimate theory Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong team builder and teammate that works well and collaborates with others in a research environment Security Clearance: Please be aware that many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
