Automation Test Engineer
Orlando, FL

100% Remote (but if things change must be able to come in on short notice)

MUST:
Active Secret Clearance is required
Experience Automation Test Engineer
10+ years of experience in automation testing within DoD programs
5+ years experience in Test Automation
5+ years of AWS GovCloud, Eggplant, SonarQube or Cucumber
Experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and DevOps tools.
Hands-on experience with Cucumber, AWS GovCloud, Eggplant, and SonarQube.
Sec+CE cert is required
Bachelors in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

DUTIES:
Develop and execute automation test strategies across Agile Scrum and Waterfall testing teams.
Create automated test scripts using industry-standard languages and frameworks, including Cucumber.
Implement and maintain continuous testing solutions through DevOps-Test orchestration layers.
Collaborate with DevOps, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze underlying application architectures, backend processes, and databases to develop efficient test automation.
Enhance and optimize automated testing strategies, ensuring scalability and reusability.
Research and implement new tools and frameworks, including Eggplant and SonarQube, to enhance testing efficiency.
Work within Cloud-based CI/CD environments, specifically AWS GovCloud, to streamline automation testing.
Ensure adherence to DoD regulations, including data governance, security standards, and Section 508 compliance to drive better governance and accountability in data management.
