sector is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer with
experience in the design of Fluid Subsystems to join our team of
qualified, diverse individuals. In this role, you will be
responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft
subsystems design configurations using current engineering
practices and standards. If needed, you might be requested to help
with other systems, such as Crew Systems and/or Equipment
Integration.
Perform design related tasks utilizing the NX and Teamcenter tool
suite
- Integrate subsystems components into various types of aircraft
applications
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholder to ensure
robust and maintainable configurations are produced
- Design tubes/ducts and routing of transport elements related to
Hydraulic, Fuel, and Environmental Control Systems (ECS)
- Crew station design, equipment payload integration, secondary
structure, and rack design
Candidates will need to have excellent communication and writing
skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of
relevant experience; Must have the ability to obtain and maintain
DoD Top Secret clearance prior to the commencement of
employmentMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program (SAP) clearance.
An active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background
investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous
Evaluation)
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and Teamcenter PLM
- Aircraft subsystems routing design experience
