Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr.
Principal Systems Engineer - Nuclear Survivability (NH&S) to
join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will
be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The NH&S Engineer will have a unique opportunity to support
design and mitigation strategies to develop and field a survivable
weapon system with operational requirements involving the following
nuclear threat environments: Electromagnetic Pulse, Ionizing
Radiation, Thermal Radiation, Air-Blast and Radiological
exposure.
The candidate will be an integral contributor throughout the
Engineering & Manufacturing Design and Production & Deployment
phases of the program providing domain specific expertise
including, but not limited to, the following:

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
