Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Engineering Manager 2
(S02) position to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position is located in Melbourne, Florida. The selected
candidate will lead the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and
Material Shortages (DMSMS) team of obsolescence management
engineers and analysts. The candidate will be responsible for the
management of people, processes and budget related to the execution
of a proactive obsolescence management program. Candidate will be
required to concurrently manage both program and functional
responsibilities.Essential functions/responsibilities
include:Management oversight of team technical tasking to ensure
performance to SOW requirements.Management of cost/schedule for
program DMSMS tasking.Cost estimating/BOE generation for new
obsolescence management efforts.Interface with Program and customer
leadership, including presentation of obsolescence impact
assessments and associated risks.Employee performance management.As

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited
university and 9 years of related engineering experience OR
Master's Degree Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
(STEM) discipline with 7 years of engineering experience.A minimum
of 5 years' experience managing projects and/or teams.Must- have 3
years' experience in DMSMS discipline.Must have an active U.S.
Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.Ability to
obtain and maintain special program access.Preferred
Qualifications:Master of Science degree Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited
university.Active in scope DoD Secret clearance (or higher).Current
special program access.5 or more years of Product Support
experience.Understanding of technology refresh cycles, technology
insertion and planning for short term resolutions to bridge to a
long-term strategic plan.Experience interfacing with and presenting
to Program and customer leadership.Salary Range: $116,200 USD -
$174,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
