career today.Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer
Reliability. This position will be located at our Aeronautics
Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL. The qualified candidate will
become part of Northrop Grumman's Product Support organization
performing System Reliability & Maintainability (R&M)
Engineering Analysis. Candidate will be responsible for
establishing, monitoring and verifying subsystem R&M
performance requirements for all design changes and new development
efforts to ensure that R&M program requirements are
achieved.Essential Functions:The selected candidate's primary
responsibility will be reliability, maintainability, and
testability. Other duties include:
- Perform R&M allocations and predictions
- Develop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
analysis
- Perform Built In Test (BIT) testability analysis
- Develop mission reliability analysis
- Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System
(FRACAS)
- Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth
Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
- Liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for
the R&M of assigned subsystemsBasic Qualifications:A candidate,
regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below
criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's of Science
degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in an Engineering degree
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial
academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by
uploading the documents to your application or profile)
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security
clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Be able to obtain and maintain Special Program AccessPreferred
Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher
- Completing or has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership
& teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and
activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
- Active, In scope DoD Secret clearancePay Range:Associate
Reliability Engineer: $55,100 to $82,700Employees may be eligible
for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses
are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
