Company Introduction:
The Artemis Launch Control System (LCS) C3 Ground Integration
Engineer (GIE) Engineer 3 position will represent Rothe
Enterprises, Inc to their Prime Contractor, ARES, on the Kennedy
Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services
Contract Three (KLXS III) at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in
Florida. The KLXS contract provides engineering and technical
services, program and business management support services and
administrative support services to the EGS Program at KSC.
Position Overview:
This position will work closely with the EGS C3 Systems Engineering
manager. Primary duties will be focused on tracking of subsystem
level requirements development, satisfaction, and closure and
ensuring that the requirements needed for Artemis Launch Control
System (LCS) are adequately captured in the appropriate
requirements tracking database and testing procedures. A focus on
innovation is strongly encouraged in this position
Duties and Responsibilities
Launch Control System (LCS) Ground Integration Engineer (GIE) -
Lead the elicitation and coordination of stakeholder/user
requirements; develop, baseline and manage Cradle requirements;
review SSRD, DVM, RTVM, TRDs, CRs and Cradle to verify LCS
requirements have proper traceability throughout system design,
implementation, verification and validation.
Provide a Systems Engineering interface to C3 Operations
Participate in IRD and ICD reviews and provide impact
assessments
Conduct studies and initiate/assess Change Requests per
GSDO-PRO-1011, GSDO Program Development Framework.
Review SLS and Orion IRDs and ICDs and coordinate with the LCS
subsystem to provide impact assessments and comments per
GSDO-PRO-1011, GSDO Program Development Framework.
Recommend innovations to existing processes, procedures,
development cycles, requirement tracking and other areas within the
scope of this position.
Capture baselined requirements in Cradle and develop DVOs/DVaOs to
support the requirement
Monitor review action items and meet with assignee for resolution
and/or plan KDDMS/Tasks Folder
NASA CN 0025-1 & 2 Ground Integration Engineer certification and
TOSC 657 Systems Engineering certification will be required within
the first year.
LCS Integration Console certification for testing and launch
support

Required knowledge : MS Office applications; Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project
Required skills : Excellent communication skills, excellent
presentation skills, self-starter who can work independently with
minimal direction yet is also comfortable working in a team
environment

EDUCATION
--- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or
Math) required preferably Computer Science or computer

--- Master's degree preferred (can substitute years of experience
for Master degree).
--- Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and
ability to use in complex situations.
--- 10 - 15 years of related experience is required.
Working Conditions:
This position is contingent on successful completion of security
badging requirements which include but are not limited to
background checks, drug screening
Must be willing and able to sign a personal NDA and
firewall/protect sensitive Government and other Contractor data
