engineers, you will directly support the network engineering
environment for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the
teams' impact on all aspects of networking from the enterprise core
to the access layers of the industrial and corporate networks. You
must have a passion for solving complex and interesting problems,
adapting as needed to better this unique environment by working
towards improving the network by way of scripting and automation.
The Network Engineer is a member of the information technology
department and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Network
Engineering.We are looking for someone to apply their technical
expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to
positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission
and vision is required!Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recent and contiguous experience at minimum of a
mid-level network engineer
- 5+ years of direct routing and switching experience is required
with the Juniper platform
- 3+ years designing enterprise scale networks is required
- JNCP or JNCIE certification or direct related experience
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology,
networking or equivalent
- Travel up to 30% of the time to support the enterprise
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional
relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
- Experience with wireless networking in both corporate and
industrial environments with the Aruba platform
- Experience supporting Palo Alto in an industrial and enterprise
network
- Experience coding or scripting for complex network applications
