The Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Specialty Systems
Engineering Department has an immediate opening for a Combat
Vulnerability Systems Engineer. The candidate will join our Systems
Engineering team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position
will be located in Melbourne, FL.
The Combat Vulnerability team on STRIKE is seeking an engineer with
experience in combat vulnerability analysis and/or live fire test.
This individual will perform probabilistic analysis to determine
the likelihood of aircraft loss due to a hostile threat
environment, assist in the development of vulnerability reduction
features, and collaborate with the System Test Team to plan,
execute, and interpret Live Fire Test results.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years professional/military
experience to include a background in systems engineering OR
Master's Degree in STEM discipline with a background in systems
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access
Program (SAP) clearance.
- Experience with combat vulnerability, either through analysis or
- Experience using COVART, AJEM, ESAMS, or BRAWLER to support an
ACAT I program.
Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
