This position will be located in Melbourne, FL at our Manned Aircraft Design COE.Essential Functions:RF and/or Mixed Signal hardware design and analysis to include:Electrical trades and architecture studiesCoordination among multiple disciplines to balance requirementsDetailed electrical design, supporting prototype and final hardware build & testTolerance and stability analysis and test data analysis for respective hardware designsBasic Qualifications:Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution and a minimum of 14 years of engineering experience in RF or Mixed Signal Design OR a Master's Degree with 12 years of experience OR a PhD with 9 years of experienceRF Microwave multi-function unit, RF Microwave slice, RF Microwave module/IMA, and/or RF Microwave board designand development experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree, or better, in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in ElectromagneticsExperience with electronic RF Microwave design for airborne and space applicationsExperience working in a team environment and ability to partner across organizations and programsExperience leading a team of over 5 employeesElectronics design development and sustaining experience spanning initial concept to product deliveryExperience with ADS or Microwave Office, Cadence, Sonnet and HFSS software applicationsExperience supporting bid & proposal activitiesFamiliarity with electrical design, electronics manufacturing processes and qualification activitiesFamiliarity with research and development of advanced technologiesA current active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within6 years, OR have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope BackgroundInvestigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.AA and Pay Transparency statement, please visit U.S. Citizenship is required for mostpositions.Salary Range: 134400 - 201600Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
